Welcome to the best-kept camping secret along Highway 97! Whispering Willows is a favourite spot for many travellers visiting the Cariboo. Boasting private campsites, fire pits, picnic tables, beautiful trees and a sparkling creek to cool off in, Whispering Willows welcomes you! Whether you are looking for an overnight rest area or a longer-term home-away-from-home, we offer both tenting and full-service sites.

We offer 10 log lakeside cabins. And over 20 campsites all located on Fishpot Lake. The main lodge has a licensed resterant, small convienence store and sells basic fishing and hunting supplies and tags. We have a swim dock with diving board and can boast nice swimming through the summer months. We rent boats with electric motors and a canoe as well for touring around the lake. We also have a boat launch, but we do have a motor boat restriction size of 10 horsepower or less gas motors. We have a covered barbeque area and a playground for children as well. Kinbasket Lake Resort sits alone on a 240 kilometer long lake in the BC mountains. It consists of 7 self contained cabins, 45 serviced campsites, 8 unserviced campsites, boat launch, docking, and seasonal beach. Hot showers, flush toilets and sinks are available to all guests. It is a semi-rustic location meaning you are not glamping and you are not roughing it, and a great many of our customers refer to it as "paradise". Our clientele is mature adults and families and of the 3,500+ camp nights we host each season a great many are returning customers. A number of those were just bumps in mom's tummy the first year, I've seen them every year since, and now they are teens. And then there are some you will read from that have a different idea of camping than we do or different expectations and will never again be a customer. C'est la vie!
