Vaseux Lakeside Resort is a fully equipped, four-unit townhouse property, located in the sunny south Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Our suites offer convenient configurations with peaceful, expansive views of the lake and mountains. The main floor entrance leads through the fully equipped kitchen into the dining and living area. Step out the glass slider onto the spacious deck, only a stone's throw from the beach and water's edge. The living area includes a double pullout sofa bed. Upstairs is the four-piece bathroom, as well as a handy washer and dryer. Walk down the hall, into the airy peaked ceiling bedroom, with queen bed, walk-in closet, and private balcony. To ensure your view from bed is unobstructed, the balcony is glass-enclosed. The Vaseux Lake region is a protected wilderness area that provides habitat for a variety of species of flora and fauna, including many which are rare and endangered. Encouraging our guests to explore and appreciate the beautiful space, we provide complimentary use of two kayaks, two paddle boards, and a canoe. Nearby trails offer good hiking and cycling, including the Kettle Valley Trail, just minutes away. Rocky Point Kayak is located at the foot of the boat launch at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody. Our sheltered location offers easy access to the Burrard Inlet and the Indian Arm. The calm waters at Rocky Point have an abundance of bird and wildlife just a short paddle from shore. Stunning scenery and secluded beaches provide a quick wilderness escape despite being only 25 minutes from downtown Vancouver. We offer hourly, daily, or weekly rentals, of kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards. In addition, we offer Paddle Canada certified lesson programs and tours, and many weekly drop-in social paddles. We have the staff and equipment to host large group or corporate outing and specialize in school paddle trips and lessons. We operate seasonally from April 1 to the end of Thanksgiving. We have a large rental fleet with a diverse range of boats for novice, intermediate and advanced paddlers. Our rental fleet consists of single, double, family-friendly double kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards.
