WESTERN HOSPITALITY ON A GUEST RANCH AT THE ENTRANCE TO BEAUTIFUL WELLS GRAY PARK Despite the rapid growth of its urban centers, much of Western Canada is still untamed frontier. One of those areas is the Wells Gray Park, 5200 sq. kilometer of protected wilderness in Central British Columbia. Bounded on the north and east by the Cariboo Mountains, and on the west by an upland plateau, the Wells Gray Park encompasses a broad spectrum of mountain scenery. The area is abundant in flora and fauna. Caribou, moose, black bear, beaver and wolf freely roam the park, and local streams are well stocked with trout. Horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, river rafting, hiking and canoeing into the local wilderness are all part of the ranch's daily summer routine. Your skilled guide will lead you to adventures on remote mountains, valleys and lakes in a setting as spectacular as it is challenging. COVID-19-update: The Wells Gray Guest Ranch will open June 1st, 2020 with limited capacity,. We are continuing to welcome guests who are able to make the journey. We adhere to the highest cleaning standards possible and have also implemented additional measures in the face of COVID-19 to ensure that our guests feel a sense of security when staying with us. Facilities: 34 campsites, 2 group sites, public beach, picnic area, boat launch, hiking trails, pit toilets, hand water pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: The best access road is off of Highway 3 about 6km east of Bridesville. Follow Johnstone Creek Road for 25km to the park. It is a maintained gravel road and takes approximately 40 minutes from the highway turnoff. Other access points off of Highway 33 and from OK Falls are not well marked and are unmaintained forestry roads that are not suitable for vehicle traffic. Conkle Lake is a secluded lake in the sub-alpine Kettle Valley area that offers rainbow trout fishing, canoeing, swimming and hiking. Come enjoy the sunshine, sandy beach and pristine views at this out-of-the-way gem! Firewood is available for sale. Open from May Long Weekend through Labour Day.

A large, modern yellow cedar log home offering two spacious comfortable bedrooms (each with queen and extra long single) as well as a stand-alone cabin with queen bed, bathroom, living room and kitchenette all on ten forested oceanside acres.

Romantic bed and breakfast near Sidney on Vancouver Island. Each of the 2 guest rooms include designer amenities, free wifi, quality cotton sheets, pillow-top mattresses, free made-to-order breakfast and free self-parking. The Seaview Room with queen bed on the 2nd floor offers a separate private bath. "The Nest" is a romantic guest room on the 3rd floor with an ensuite. Laburnum Cottage is a self-contained, self-catering separate cottage of 350 square feet with a kitchen, social area, queen bedroom and bathroom with shower. All rooms are accessed by staircases. No lift (elevator) is available at this property. Laburnum cottage is accessed separately from the other 2 rooms.
