The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a three-story, 30,400-square foot award-winning cultural centre designed to blend the traditional Squamish Longhouse with the Lil'wat Istken. Cultural Ambassadors share their knowledge and stories with guests, on a guided tour, augmenting the information shared throughout the centre's curated collection of cultural carvings, regalia, weaving and contemporary art. Traditional drum songs are shared at the top of each hour. See a traditional Istken Pithouse and Longhouse outside, as well as enjoying a Salish Forest Walk during summer. Come experience an amazing day on the water discovering more about Ucluelet and the local marine life on Canada's Pacific Coast. Cameron Ocean Adventures offers whale watching & wildlife tours: With a focus on finding whales, we also encounter a multitude of other marine life, such as sea lions, seals, sea otters, eagles and marine birds. Our tours take place on a 43 foot (13 meter) covered boat with indoor and outdoor viewing areas, heated cabin and bathroom onboard. We provide inflatable life jackets for all our guests to be worn during the tour, as well as life jackets for children. We also provide binoculars for all our guests to use.
