Join our whale watching tour later in the season to experience the greatest show on Earth! North Coast whale watching is acknowledged as one of the most accessible and predictable locations to see whales. You may encounter grey whales feeding around enormous kelp beds, humpback whales flashing their unique tails as they dive to feed, orca whales following the migrating salmon, or porpoises playfully gliding alongside the boat. Stellar sea lions, harbour seals, eagles, blue herons and sea otters may also make an appearance. Climb aboard for the adventure of a lifetime!

Start your day with Jacquie's awesome gourmet breakfast served in the Fireside Room and relax with coffee on the veranda. Jacquie's guests become friends at this quiet get-away in our beautiful 1920's Heritage home and garden. A couple or family can luxuriate in the spaciousness of our Vista Room in Queen or Twin beds with view of the valley and gardens. You'll sleep soundly in an antique double bed in our Heritage room. Cosy dressing gowns and WiFi provided. Stroll the gardens and sip afternoon tea on the patio or sitting room. Jacquie can advise you about great local restaurants as well as book wine tours, whale watching trips, and birding . As a hiker Jacquie will direct you to local hiking trails and parks. Where History Comes to Life - Stroll down the streets of our 1920s community. Period costumed townsfolk welcome visitors and give demonstrations in the homes, businesses and shops. Visitors can feel the heat of the fire as the blacksmith works at the forge, hear the rhythm of the platen press at the Burnaby Post, smell freshly ground coffee in the General Store, be a 1920s student in a one-room schoolhouse, watch the tinsmith cut, crimp & curl flat sheets of tin into useful household items. Everyone is welcome to take a ride on the 1912 CW Parker Carousel, explore the restored 1912 Interurban Tram, and enjoy a treat in the Ice Cream Parlour. The Village is open seasonally (Spring Break in March, Summer Season- early May to Labour Day, and Heritage Christmas-late November to early January) and year-round for pre-booked groups and programs.

Kidtropolis is an interactive indoor playground focused on providing a great play experience for children and families. We love to inspire children to use their imagination to pretend play in our city. Children can be police officers, fire fighters, shop in our food market, take care of animals, take care of each other, fix a car, travel the world in our airplane and so much more! Kidtropolis offers drop in play, birthday parties, private events, Kids Night Out, Nerf Night, Day camps, Field Trips and so much more! We love a good party! Playing can work up a pretty good appetite - guests can purchase snacks and food items from our Munchies Cafe too! Whether you're visiting from out of town or one of the locals, we have something for kids aged 2 years - 10 years old. The Information Center is the place to begin your adventure into the Wells Gray Provincial Park and Clearwater BC. You will find maps and literature, historical and natural history displays. You will be able to book accommodations and excursions, and use the internet. Relax and enjoy our beautiful building and grounds. We look forward to seeing you!

Welcome to the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin. We are situated on Broadway Avenue South, Williams Lake serving on the traditional territory of the Secwepemc, Tsilhqot'in and Dakelh Nations. The Museum is a tribute to Williams Lake and the Cariboo Chilcotin regions. If you are looking to step back in time come on in we would love to open our doors to you. Nestled in the Cariboo Chilcotin, the Museum provides history and displays on the region, local ranching and rodeo heritage, it is also the home to the BC Cowboy Hall of Fame as well as exhibits on Indigenous Peoples, Railway, Mining, Medical, and Forestry just to name a few. Admission is by donation supporting local and provincial heritage. Wild Bear Lodge is a small private wilderness lodge about halfway between Vancouver and Calgary.
