Our waters are also great for fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing, and more. As the only resort on Sulphurous Lake, our guests get to experience the thrill of nature with the comforts of home. Beautiful Coastal inspired Oceanfront condo with a warm seaside feel situated on 3.5 acres of stunning waterfront property at Inn of the Sea Resort. Our fully equipped condo offers 1400 square feet of living space on 2 levels. We offer 2 Queen size bedrooms, 2 full 4-piece baths, kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 balconies, and on-site laundry facility. The Main living area is located on the Top Floor and the second hotel style bedroom and bath are on the second floor. Our condo is surrounded by tall cedar trees and has breathtaking views of the Gulf Islands and the Stuart Channel. The Ocean and beach are just 20 steps away from our condo. Your will enjoy panoramic views from our large ocean-side heated pool and hot tub. The Hot Tub is heated and open all year round. The Pool will open on or around May 15th and close September 30th. The private dock offers seasonal boat moorage and is great for crabbing and fishing. Inn of the Sea is an ideal year round vacation getaway. The resort is beautifully landscaped with rose gardens and lush greenery. During your stay you may see playful Otters and Seals, Hummingbirds, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, and maybe even Orcas swimming through the channel. Time can be spent beachcombing, checking out the starfish, kayaking, fishing and crabbing, or just lazing in and around the heated pool and hot tub. The property has a playground for the kids, a beach-side fire pit, bar-b-que patios as well as a private tennis court.

Grizzly Bears, return each August for the salmon run in Toba Inlet. A cycle that has taken place for a millennial on the traditional territory of the Klahoose First Nation. Against a breathtaking backdrop and from viewing platforms, we have optimal sight lines to view the bears in their natural habitat. Tours led by Klahoose guides and partners from Campbell River from late August to mid-October.

Tiki Time Tours is a fun, unique tour company offering a range of experiences from custom Tiki boat tours, Tiki bus tastings tours. We also have pontoon boats and wake boat tours. You can get the best of both worlds on our custom combo tours combining a tastings tour on our Tiki bus then later the same day out on the beautiful Okanagan Lake on one of our Tiki boats

Strathcona Provincial Park, designated in 1911, is the oldest provincial park in British Columbia. Located almost in the centre of Vancouver Island, Strathcona park is a rugged mountain wilderness comprising more than 250,000 hectares. Mountain peaks some perpetually mantled with snow dominate the park. Lakes and alpine tarns dot a landscape laced with rivers, creeks and streams. To see and enjoy much of the scenic splendour means lacing up your hiking boots to backpack through the dense forests, stunning sub-alpine and alpine regions. While the high mountain peaks and deep shaded valleys of Strathcona Park are dramatic, it is easy to forget that beneath your feet lays a history stretching back 380 million years. Two areas Buttle Lake and vicinity and Forbidden Plateau offer a variety of visitor-oriented developments. The rest of the park is largely undeveloped and appeals primarily to people seeking wilderness surroundings.

Beautiful campground bordering Swift Creek on the edge of Valemount, B.C., Close enough to walk into the town of Valemount. We have 42 service sites with power, water, picnic tables, fire pits and 30 tent sites with picnic tables and fire pits. Washrooms newly renovated in 2013, free hot showers, laundry facilities, sani dump in campground, free WiFi, sell bundled wood and have a small store in office. The Chinook salmon spawn in the creek in early August to mid August and it is a sight to see!

The Silvery Slocan Museum, located in the former Bank of Montreal building on Main Street, has been a fixture in New Denver B.C. for over 100 years. The museum features exhibits about the area's heritage, including its mining, logging and agricultural history, as well as the recently restored Lancet motor launch. Admission is by donation.
