The Salt Spring Visitor Centre is located in the heart of downtown Ganges at 121 Lower Ganges Rd. Our knowledgeable volunteer counsellors offer a wealth of information and want to ensure you experience an unforgettable visit. Free local maps, ferry and bus schedules, and our brochure can be picked up at any time. We have free wifi and a payphone is conveniently located outside our door. Tour and local buses stop right outside our front door. There is a bicycle rack available and parking is located behind the Visitor Centre.Unfortunately our building is too old to be handicap accessible but if you visit the Chamber of Commerce office at parking lot level, a counsellor will be happy to bring information to you! Shops, galleries, restaurants, parks and more are a short stroll from the Visitor Centre. See you on Salt Spring Island!

Open May to October Ride on an operating Heritage Railway. We are open Saturdays and Sundays May through October, from 9.30am until the last train returns at 4.00pm. Come out and see what we have to offer and go for a ride on the train.

Our guest house is located in Rose Harbour, Kunghit Island; very deep within Gwaii Haanas National Park, Marine Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Only accessible by floatplane! We provide 3 meals a day, offering authentic Thai cuisine being our specialty. We cook mostly with organic food and also from our large garden. Our guesthouse is rustic but comfortable with wood heat, communal shower and composting toilet. We don't have more then 8 guests at the time unless your group is more then 8! Our tour packages include accommodation, meals, and transportation by floatplane to/from Queen Charlotte Village. We also offer optional guided boat tours and sea kayak rentals in the area surrounding our location. Recommended sites to visit by boat are Ninstints/Skanggwaii (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cape St-James, Rose Inlet, and many others nearby locations. We speak English, French, Thai and Lao. Our two bedroom garden level suite offers 1000 sq ft. of privacy complete with your own entrance and easy access to our beautiful garden. Each bedroom offers a queen bed with pillow top mattresses and quality linens. The suite is immaculate and offers travelers that added bonus of having a living room to relax as well as a kitchenette and eating area. Travelers enjoy the convenience of a fridge as well as the ability to make coffee and tea at any time. Guests rave about our home cooked full breakfast which can be enjoyed on our deck (weather permitting) with gorgeous mountain views as the backdrop. Many special moments are enjoyed on our outdoor patio with the peace and quiet of the evening sky. Our location cant be beat as guests can be at Dutch Lake in less than 2 min. considered to be one of the best swimming lakes in BC. The B&B is centrally located making it easy to walk to several restaurants or the shopping complex. We are .5km away from the Information Center.

We are right on the Naramata Bench, 7km from Penticton. Enjoy your Whistle Stop either by the pool or on the balcony, with beautiful mountain and lake views. Hike/bike the nearby KVR; for bicycles, there is a lockable room available. Our 4 spacious suites are each a min. of 650 sq.ft. and have priv. bath-& living rooms. We offer a full breakfast with additional and alternating German specialties

Two separate suites, both with private 3-piece ensuite and kitchenette, top of the line queen beds, heated tile floors, beautiful Pender Harbour view, huge deck with hot-tub and BBQ, and including a delicious 3-course breakfast. Located just minutes from Madeira Park with all its amenities, we are ideally located close to the many activities that the "Venice of the North" has to offer. We also have recently added a small but cozy "backpacker/cyclist" cabin at a reduced cost. It has a heated floor, private bathroom and shower, and feels very much like a "Tree House".

Visit the homesite of Will Haylmore, Deputy Mine Recorder during the Cariboo Gold Rush. The Bridge River Valley was one of the richest gold producing areas between 1930-1950, lots of amazing history to explore! Come and enjoy the open air site, pan for gold, sample homemade ice cream or shop at the local Artisan's gallery for unique handmade wares. A Visitor Information Centre is also on-site.
