Ocean Resort, located just south of Campbell River, is located on the ocean, on the east coast of beautiful Vancouver Island, with easy access from Mt. The Cariboo Ski Touring Club is a non-profit organization that caters to cross-country, skate skiing and snowshoers. We provide 75 km of groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing. We also have 10 km of snowshoe trails. We offer youth program, biatlhon and lessons. Rental Shop available for renting skiing and snowshoeing equipment. Day Lodge on site. Learn about B.C. freshwater fish, recreational fishing and hatchery operations at our self-guided visitor centre. Guided tours and birthday parties can be organized- please contact us for more information. The Visitor Centre is open everyday from 9.00am - 3.00pm. The outdoor fishing ponds are open to the public May 1st to October 31st from dawn to dusk. Pond may be closed to the public during registered programs. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

The Chateau Big White is ideally situated in the heart of the resort with beautiful views of the village. Due to their clever interior design, the company’s fleet of small RVs and campervans offers all the comforts of a larger RV. Available in three models, sleeping 2 to 5 people, each vehicle includes a kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove, and sink, as well as a bathroom with a hot shower and toilet, and stationery AC/heat. roadsurfer campervans are dog-friendly and include unlimited miles and a free second driver. Everyone is welcome to take a ride on the 1912 CW Parker Carousel, explore the restored 1912 Interurban Tram, and enjoy a treat in the Ice Cream Parlour. The Village is open seasonally (Spring Break in March, Summer Season- early May to Labour Day, and Heritage Christmas-late November to early January) and year-round for pre-booked groups and programs.

Come sit down for a pint or take beer to go in growlers. Aside from beer we offer in our lounge wine, cider and non alcoholic drinks.
