Dk Adventures At Tatuk Lake
This year round resort is located approx. 1 hour south of Vanderhoof in Finger/Tatuk Provincial Park. The resort offers 7 modern cabins, with one being wheelchair friendly, complimenting the accessible dock area and lift. In addition, there are 10 campsites with a large grassy area, overlooking the creek where grizzly bears can sometimes be spotted in the fall: fishing for spawning kokanee. Jewel Lake Provincial Park
Facilities: 26 campsites, public beach and day-use area, pit toilets, water hand pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: 12 km from Highway 3 east of Greenwood. Jewel Lake is a popular rustic campground that attracts fishermen, campers, and people looking to explore the great outdoors. It is common to spot anglers fly-fishing for rainbow trout on this scenic 3 km long lake. This truly unique provincial park offers stunning views in a wilderness setting. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.
Tallheo Cannery Guest House
Tallheo Cannery Guest House is on the site of salmon cannery that closed down 30 years ago. It's at the bottom of a 3000 metre mountain with a glacier beside a deep fjord. Sensational views across the bay. Garrett the owner picks you up in a boat and it's a five minute ride from Bella Coola to the cannery with its tumbledown buildings. Guests stay in the former ladies' bunkhouse.

Sidney Museum
Established in 1971, the Sidney Museum has served the community of Sidney and North Saanich since then. Run by the Society of Saanich Peninsula Museums, the museum promotes awareness of local heritage through exhibits, programs, and collections. Its permanent collection consists of over 6000 items. In addition to its permanent exhibits, the museum also features rotating monthly exhibits. These temporary exhibits include everything from an annual Quilting display, a Teddy Bear Christmas Display, and of course the famous 3-month long Lego Exhibit. The Society of Saanich Peninsula Museums is a non-profit organization, and the Museum is open to the public by donation.
