Adjacent to the Lillooet River, in the Pemberton Volcanic Belt, you will find Tsek Hot Springs and the sacred location of the In-SHUCK-ch and Státimc people (nkkwtsa) of British Columbia. The nkkwtsa established a permanent village of (s7)ístken (pit houses) and plank houses along the banks of the Lillooet River, and a series of trails through the nearby forests to hunting grounds and neighbouring villages. The mineral hot springs at Tsek provided our ancestors with physical and spiritual wellness, while the loose, sandy nature of the soil made the cedar tree roots grow long and straight. Tseks hot and cold springs became the most important spiritual site in the lower Lillooet River Valley. It is said that the cool spring served as a healing pool where the Elder mothers trained men to be chiefs, watchmen, and other important positions in the In-SHUCK-ch Nation. Pronounced chick, Tsek Hot Springs (also known as Skookumchuck Hot Springs and St. Agnes Well Hot Springs) has continuously been occupied and utilized by the Státimc people as a location to heal and cleanse the body and spirit centuries before Europeans arrived along our shores.

The Cardiff Miller Art Warehouse in Enderby BC exhibits several large scale sound/ light/ and robotic installations by Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller. These artworks are installed in the 18,000 sq ft museum situated next to the Shuswap River and North Okanagan Rail Trail. Cardiff and Millers artworks, which are mostly shown internationally, have been greeted with great enthusiasm by thousands of visitors since opening in August 2023..."Must visit if you're in the OkanaganOnce in a lifetime experience!" Blue River Campground is located in beautiful Blue River, British Columbia, Canada. We can be found on Highway #5, halfway between Jasper, Alberta and Kamloops, British Columbia. Blue River is best known for its tranquillity and spectacular scenery. The areas rivers, mountains, and lakes provide a vast playground for the outdoor enthusiast. The campground has 42 sites that can accommodate RVs and tents. Water, electricity and full hook-ups are available. Many sites are convenient pull-thru, which can accommodate the longest vehicles. There are five camping cabins which can sleep up to six in a cozy fashion and have lights, plugins, and beds. We also offer canoe, kayak and standard paddleboard for rent for those who want to explore scenic lakes in Blue River!

Mackie Lake House is an historic 1910 home situated on the shores of Kalamalka Lake in Coldstream BC. It is operated by a non-profit society and offers tours, special events, and facility rentals. Join us for a guided tour or site visit (open seasonally from June - September). Mackie Lake House is a picnic-encouraged site. Out of respect to our local wildlife, no pets are permitted.

The Visitor Centre is housed in the historic Bank of Montreal building (built 1897) and the building also contains the Silvery Slocan Museum. Take a stroll though our 100 year old history, or stay in the now, with free wifi access. We are open part-time during May and June, then will be open 7 days a week from July 1st until Labour Day weekend in September.
