There's plenty of ready to eat food to keep you satisfied as you listen to live music, enjoy local craftspeople and relax around the stage or the children's sandbox. For a relaxing experience to help you get a good sense of what Powell River community feels like, join us from May-Sept on Saturdays from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and year round on Sundays from 12:30 pm - 2:30pm at 4365 McLeod Road. Located in the beautiful setting of Cates Park, this site offers Kayak and SUP rentals run by Deep Cove Kayak - all just 100m from the beach. Same great kayaks, stand up paddleboards, and knowledgeable staff. No experience required - basic instruction and all necessary gear included. Please note that midweek we are open by-reservation.

For the middle aged and senior visitors our artifacts bring back many memories of how folks lived. Remembering what life was like as a kid, seeing the transition from horse power to engines. The collection of artifacts by the Association has evolved from focusing on farming equipment only, to including historical artifacts depicting all aspects of pioneer life. The Museum collection has grown to over 6,100 historical artifacts of farming equipment and pioneer life in British Columbia, on display in two buildings and an outside exhibit area.
