Big Chief RV Park
Nestled alongside Vernon Creek just north of Vernon, the park has a real sense of tranquility. Centrally located guests are close to hospitality, grocery stores, beaches, parks, wineries & much more! The RV sites have power, water & sewer hook-ups. Guests have access to the club house which has WiFi. Communal washrooms are well kept. The communal fire pit is perfect for roasting hot dogs & smores.
Arbour Cottage B & B
Our 2-bedroom, bed and breakfast is in beautiful West Courtenay, which is approximately 90 minutes north of the Nanaimo ferries (via the 19A Oceanview route, or 70 minutes (via the Inland Highway), 15 minutes from the Comox Valley Airport and about 15 minutes from the Powell River Ferry Terminal. There are 6 golf courses, including the world-class Crown Isle Golf & Country Club. Beautiful parks and hiking trails just a short walk or drive from Arbour Cottage B & B. Mount Washington, Strathcona Provincial Park and Paradise Meadows only 32 minutes away. B & B within driving distance to unique shops in downtown Courtenay. Two bedrooms available, both queen. Low Season (October to April) $120; High Season (May to September $130 (breakfast included). Shared bath. Patio available (weather permitting) for our guests use. Homemade full, continental or vegetarian breakfast. Please let me know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Roedde House Museum
Welcome to the Roedde family's home. Gustav and Matilda Roedde settled in Vancouver in 1888. Gustav opened the first bookbinding business in Vancouver and by 1893 moved into their new house in the West End. Roedde House is attributed to famed architect Francis Rattenbury and is a City of Vancouver-designated Class A Heritage House. Since 1980, the Roedde House Preservation Society has taken painstaking care to renovate and furnish the house to reflect the ambience of late Victorian family life. Come in and experience life in the late 19th century for yourself!
