The Williams Lake Visitor Centre is here to help you with all your travel needs! We provide information on Williams Lake, the Cariboo region, and the rest of Canada. The Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin is located in the back half of the building. The centre also boast a ice cream/gift/coffee shop, interactive displays, washrooms, seating areas, and free internet. The Ladysmith Gallery hosts two art shows a month that are open to the public - a monthly member art show featuring a variety of artworks around a different theme from Vancouver Island and Gulf Island artists; followed by a 10 day guest artist exhibition. The location also features a curated gallery boutique shop with smaller artworks from over 50 artists. The boutique holds seasonal offerings as well. Other events that take place at the Ladysmith Gallery are art pop-ups with interactive art experiences, prestigious art exhibitions such as the biennial Fine Arts Show and late night shopping opportunities during the December season.
