Metchosin ArtPod is an artist-run collective and gallery located in the rural village of Metchosin, on Greater Victorias West Shore. We support local visual artists by offering opportunities to learn, create, show, and sell original work, and offer the community a venue for engaging with the visual arts. We offer: open calls for art submissions to artists in our region and beyond; externally juried art shows and sales in a gallery setting; show opening events, featured artist talks, and discussion forums; weekly drop-in art sessions; art workshops, resource networks and learning opportunities. Art drop-in sessions are held during the week, and the gallery is open Fri -Sun, 11-4. Quaaout Lodge & Spa at Talking Rock Golf Resort, the pride of the Skwlx te Secwepemculecw (Little Shuswap Lake Band), is situated on the north shore of Little Shuswap Lake. Located midway between Vancouver & Calgary the Resort is located just minutes off the Trans Canada Highway, a 45 minute drive east from Kamloops, or a scenic 2 hour drive north from Kelowna International Airport. The Lodge's guest rooms suffered a severe structure fire in the spring of 2022, resulting in losing the accommodation wing. Skwlx te Secwepemculecw have committed to a rebuild with hopes to open in 2026. The Resort is still open, including Le7ke Spa, Conference Center, Talking Rock Golf Course (seasonal) & Jack Sams Restaurant (seasonal).

Only 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, allow 2 - 3 hours for your visit to Vancouver's iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge, hanging 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River. On Treetops Adventure walk from one magnificent old growth Douglas-fir to another on a series of seven elevated suspension bridges, reaching as high as 110 feet (33m), for a squirrel's eye view of the forest.
