- Temporarily closed The Williams Lake Cross Country Ski Club offers over 30 km of beautifully set cross country ski trails at Bull Mountain. We maintain a double set of classic ski tracks with a wide centre lane groomed for skate skiers. Grooming equipment consists of both a new Pisten Bully and a new Alpina Superclass snow machine. We can groom quickly and in both low and high snow conditions. Located 16km North of Williams Lake, off Highway 97 one km up Bull Mnt road we offer designated Dog trails, 3.5km of lit trails, until 10 p.m. nightly, an adventure park, terrain park, and a large stadium for hosting events. Our lodge is fully equipped with a modern kitchen, 3 accessible washrooms and a ski rental facility. We invite you to enjoy the great skiing nearby in 100 Mile and Quesnel and embrace a memorable skiing holiday in the Cariboo. Kids of all ages love our scavenger hunt, rope making, tomato and egg sorting demonstrations. Visitors learn how people lived without electricity and can see first-hand wooden ice boxes (early refrigerators), see early windmills that pump water and produce light. nearing 100 years old and still running! For the middle aged and senior visitors our artifacts bring back many memories of how folks lived. Remembering what life was like as a kid, seeing the transition from horse power to engines. The collection of artifacts by the Association has evolved from focusing on farming equipment only, to including historical artifacts depicting all aspects of pioneer life. The Museum collection has grown to over 6,100 historical artifacts of farming equipment and pioneer life in British Columbia, on display in two buildings and an outside exhibit area.
