The Nechako White Sturgeon Conservation Centre hatchery program is dedicated to maintaining genetic diversity and conserving the population of the Nechako White Sturgeon. The hatchery is used to rear sturgeon eggs into one-year old sturgeon for release into the river. Research projects and programs also run out of the hatchery. Visitor Hours: Tours currently available by appointment only. Call the hatchery at 250-567-6673, email nechako@gofishbc.com or email info@nechakowhitesturgeon.org to book.There is an Community Fishing Pond stocked with rainbow trout on-site that is open for public fishing (catch-and-release only) on a drop-in basis. Free rod and tackle gear is available. Adults 16 years+ require a basic fishing licence. The Trout Fishing Pond is open May 1 October 31, dawn to dusk.

Cheers Cowichan is now operated by MyGo Tours and Transportation. We offer group wine and brew tours, year round to wineries and pubs in the Cowichan Valley. We specialize in winery and craft brewery tours, We pick up and drop off from all locations from Victoria to Parksville. Your group is the only group on your private tour. We have a 14 and an 18 passenger bus with driver and local tour guide. Private transport is also available for events: weddings, corporate, festivals, sports teams. Professional and personal service.
