Ten Mile Lake is a very popular recreational destination for local residents and visitors. It offers multiple lakeside picnic areas, change houses, playground, two large beaches with roped off swimming areas, a boat launch, reservable picnic shelter, walking trails and great fishing. The Lakeside Campground features attractive, treed campsites, showers and flush toilets. While the Touring Campground offers sunny, open sites with 23 pull through sites capable of handling even the largest RV's on the road. Take a rewarding 2-km hike on the old railway grade along the lake, and through the forest to a large beaver pond. For those that enjoy fishing but don't have a boat we have a great fishing dock that was installed in 2015 thanks to the efforts of the Fresh Water Fisheries Society of BC and the Quesnel Rod & Gun Club.

A short walk from downtown Nelson we are located on Kootenay Lake at the Prestige Marina. You can paddle right from our office. We have a convenient launching dock and paddles and life jackets are included with each rental. There is no more convenient place to get on the water!

Coastal Black is a family owned and operated fruit winery, meadery and cidery. All our wines and ciders are hand-crafted on site. Festivals include access to the lower farm where you can visit our miniature highland cow and other farm animals, have fun on our huge bouncing pillow, play backyard games and more.
