Bilston Creek Farm is a lavender farm in Metchosin, rich in history dating back to 1851. We create beautiful experiences and craft natural products for face, body, kitchen and home. Our entire collection is made on our farm with our own lavender, apples and honey, locally foraged botanicals, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. The farm is host to weddings, private events, and community activities a place to bring people together to create everlasting memories and immerse themselves between the forest and sea.

Located on peaceful Denman Island, Fillongley Provincial Park is a short 10-minute ferry crossing from Buckley Bay (located between Qualicum Beach and the town of Courtenay). Fillongley is a popular small campground. It has 10 oceanside, compact campsites. It is 80% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of campsites available. This is the only provincial campground on Denman Island; campers may camp in the adjacent day-use parking lot overnight when the main campground is full (regular camping fees apply to overflow camping).

Dog Mermaid Eco Excursions, Kayak Rentals & Retreats specializes in Eco and indigenous education and tours, by means of kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, kids camps, yoga, retreats, and dog sledding (in winter months). Based on Pender Island, our head office is located at Otter Bay Marina, just off the ferry. Established in 1971, the Sidney Museum has served the community of Sidney and North Saanich since then. Run by the Society of Saanich Peninsula Museums, the museum promotes awareness of local heritage through exhibits, programs, and collections. Its permanent collection consists of over 6000 items. In addition to its permanent exhibits, the museum also features rotating monthly exhibits. These temporary exhibits include everything from an annual Quilting display, a Teddy Bear Christmas Display, and of course the famous 3-month long Lego Exhibit. The Society of Saanich Peninsula Museums is a non-profit organization, and the Museum is open to the public by donation.
