Forest Rose Campground
This forested campground offers a sunny creek-side setting for campers of all kinds, with more trees and privacy on the north end in the first-come, first-served section and sunnier pull-through sites on the south end in the reservable section. Forest Rose Campground has 30 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 26 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, and a washroom building with flush toilets, potable water, and coin-operated showers. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 55 feet long and 13 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs. Forest Rose Campground is located off of the Bowron Lake Road, along the east side of Williams Creek and a stone's throw from the Barkerville Highway. It's 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Forest Rose via the highway, or cross the highway on foot to access a well-groomed walking path. Forest Rose Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.

Idabel Lake Resort
A year-round lakeside resort offering self-contained cottages and suites, some with private hot tubs. Every unit is on the lakefront with a breathtaking lakeview from a private deck. Lake activities enjoyed include fishing, swimming, canoeing, ice fishing and boating. Complimentary canoes and rowboats are available. Local trails are great for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. Many trails accessible by quad, ATV and snowmobile. We are on the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. Games room with pool table, ping-pong, foosball and air hockey is open for guests. Small playground, community bonfire evenings until 10:00 pm. WiFi available for an extra charge. Okanagan Science Centre
The Okanagan Science Centre is a non-profit charity that is community driven. We offer hands-on, interactive science exhibits for children & adults, science camps, birthday parties, and events! Our mission is "to inspire scientific inquiry through dynamic and interactive educational programs and exhibits; and to encourage children and adults to appreciate the relevance and universality of science, and its application in the Okanagan".
Cottonwood House Historic Site
Cottonwood House is one of the last remaining roadhouses in British Columbia. With over 75 years of Boyd family legacy, a visit to this historic site will allow you to experience the rich history of the Cariboo region first hand. Cottonwood House was built in 1864 offering accommodation, meals, hardware and provisions to many on their journey along the Cariboo Wagon Road to Barkerville or Quesnel. Today, this 26 acre wheelchair accessible provincial heritage site is a tourist destination offering heritage interpretation, hiking, and day use facilities.
Legacy Lodge at Rivers Inlet
Carved into the rugged coastline of British Columbia 250 nautical miles north of Vancouver, Legacy Lodge sits within the Great Bear Rainforest in the protected waters of Pendleton Bay at the mouth of the famed Rivers Inlet. Legacy Lodge is more than world class fishing; it's about friends sharing the adventure of exploring North America's last wilderness, experiencing humpback and killer whales, dolphins, eagles and a night sky full of stars so bright they'll keep you awake!Legacy Lodge was hand crafted on large floats from indigenous materials. Traditional salmon fishing for Chinook and Coho salmon are available from July through September in calm, secluded waters throughout Rivers Inlet. Halibut, Yellow Eye and Lingcod are also plentiful in these waters all summer. Heli-fishing for huge northern Coho salmon (20 lbs. plus) within the pristine rivers of the BC coastline is available during September and October, and wild Steelhead fishing from helicopters are available during April and May.Legacy Lodge offers exceptional fly fishing for Pacific salmon on the calm, protected waters of Rivers Inlet. The dense populations of Coho and Chinook in the waters surrounding Legacy Lodge are aggressive, and will take your fly..... and 200 feet of backing off your reel in seconds! Known around the globe for its magnificent scenery and unparalled salmon fishing, the waters of Rivers Inlet teem with some of the largest Coho and Chinook Salmon in the world. In fact, more 50 to 60 pound Chinook salmon are caught in this fjord-like inlet each year than in any other area in British Columbia. Full of energy and fight, these salmon can battle for hours, over incredible distances.Rivers Inlet lies within the Great Bear Rainforest, the planets last large expanses of coastal temperate rainforest. At 8+ million acres, it is 5 times the size of Banff National Park and represents one of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet. With an unmatched biological output of 500 tons per acre, it's 40 percent greater than tropical rain forests.

The Grist Mill & Gardens
The Grist Mill Campground is a small creekside campground on Keremeos Creek, and is part of the Grist Mill and Gardens Historic Site. Each of the eleven serviced campsites back onto the creek and have both water and power. There are also two tent-only sites without creek access. Washrooms are available to campers 24 hours a day. During the daytime, our restaurant is open for lunch and our lovely gardens and site are open for tours.
