The coolest new activity in the Kootenays! Kokanee Mountain Zipline will provide customers with the incredible freedom of flight high above Kokanee Creek and a view of the variety of natural flora and fauna, while at the same time encouraging preservation of the area's significant natural resources and history. This 1.5-2 hour tour with two professional guides on six ziplines will take you up to 300ft off the ground, along 2400ft of the tree canopies. Enjoy a beautiful forest setting with the whole family... 50lbs minimum weight limit so the little folks can fly too! Our season runs from the beginning of May to the end of October. Our displays include First Nations, pioneer items including an 1880's cabin, mining, logging & ranching. Displays are curated annually. The Elkford Motor Inn is a full service facility offering rooms, restaurant, pub and liquor store. We are located in the heart of Elkford in close proximity to shopping and recreation facilities. The hotel has 22 rooms, some with one king or queen bed and others with two queen beds. Each room has a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot for your convenience. Those traveling for business or work may call the hotel for corporate rates. Emi's Restaurant is open 7:00am to 10:00pm for dine in and take out. Sneaky's Pub is open 11:00am to 2:00am daily.
