Golden River Adventures offers Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) and Inflatable Kayak Tours in Golden, British Columbia. We offer two distinct tours: WAPTA FALLS WILD & SCENIC Today, we can travel these routes and imagine the hardships that must have been endured on these shorelines. mountain passes and trails. The result is one of the most unique tours in the Canadian Rockies, travelling historic trade route. This tour begins on the Beaver River and travels to the confluence of the Beaver and Kicking Horse Rivers. From there, in true Canadian fashion, participants engage in a short portage along one of the original portage routes of the Canadian West. Natives and explorers alike travelled these exact waterways and trails centuries ago. Highlights include paddling to the base of Wapta Falls, the Rockies most photographed waterfall. From there the trip continues down Class 1 Whitewater. Most of this tour occurs within Yoho National Parks, and at any point participants can glance up for sweeping views of Mount Chancellor, the Canadian Rockies peak over 10,000 feet that straddles the Western Flank of this world-renowned Mountain Range. The tour is 5 hours in length from start to finish, and departs daily at 10 AM The Wapta Falls Wild & Scenic Tour is offered Daily. With a maximum guide to participant ratio of 5:1, seating on this tour is very limited. Reservations are strongly recommended. PRICE = $129 PP CAD DOLLARS COLUMBIA VALLEY EXPLORER The Kicking Horse & Columbia River waterways through the town of Golden boast a historical significance to the Columbia area. With the stunning backdrop of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and the the Purcell Mountain Range, this tour is shorter and more urban in nature than the Wild & Scenic Wapta Tour. We will see remnants of the old docks of a bygone area that were at one time a lifeline for the residents of golden to accessing goods. We will travel under the Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge, the longest covered timber bridge in Canada. Once we come to the terminus of the Kicking Horse River we will travel the Columbia River for a short while. This is a good time in the evening to catch a glimpse of black bears near the water's edge, although it is not guaranteed. With a guide ratio of 5:1 Reservations are strongly recommended. Nass Base Camp
Welcome to Nass Base Camp! Two and a half hours north from the main lodge in Terrace you will find a cozy operation on the banks of Meziaden Lake that has a strong and loyal client base who return to this special place annually. If you are lucky enough to secure a spot, you will understand why anglers are drawn back here every year. The rivers are medium sized and easy to read and wade. Due to the lodges remote location, the chance of seeing other anglers is extremely rare. Each morning we will trailer our boats to different locations on multiple rivers. Our lodge is very casual and rustic. If you want to experience the real untamed north of Beautiful British Columbia, dont wait too long to garner your slot in one of the least known and most desirable Steelhead programs of British Columbia. Similkameen Visitor Centre
Operated by the Similkameen Country Development Association, a local non-profit, the Similkameen Visitor Centre provides tourism services for the South Similkameen. Stop by and enjoy our picnic area. We have free WIFI, handicap accessible washrooms, a baby change table, electric charging stations and much more. Please be advised that we've switched from our former location to a temporary location within the Similkameen Recreation Centre.

Moosehaven Resort and Campground is 12 acres of trees and grassy meadows nestled on the shore of Hathaway Lake in the South Cariboo region of British Columbia. With 9 lakeshore cabins, 30 amp and 50 amp pull-through full-service RV sites, shower and laundry facilities, clean bathrooms, boat launch and boat rentals, kids playground, the only thing missing is you! The great swimming and fishing lake is teaming with Kokanee, Rainbow and Lake trout, as well as Burbout. Open Seasonally from April to November (weather permitting). Please note we have an abundance of wildlife that visits the resort (deer, fox, families of ducks etc), and to maintain this, we do not permit dogs in our campsites or cabins.

Surrounded by the snow-capped Cascade Mountains it offers a wealth of recreational activities for all campers, including exceptional skiing and snowboarding at Manning Park in the winter months and miles of beautiful hiking trails in the summer. Enjoy ATV and mountain/dirt-biking trails accessible, from the resort, which double as snowmobile trails when the weather gets colder. In the winter there are snowshoe rentals available. You can ride right up to your RV or campsite! Nearby waterways allow for summertime lazing and boating, as well as winter skating. The Resort features indoor and outdoor heated pools and hot tubs, an onsite General Store, liquor sales, fire pits, a fitness centre and a recreation hall.
