In addition to an information-packed narrative, guides will point out glaciers and many waterfalls toppling from the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Located in the heart of Whistler Creekside, Southside Lodge is situated 400m from the Creekside Gondola. Each room has everything you need to work/play and have a comfortable stay. There is a Washroom, Shower, Mini Fridge, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Cable TV, High Speed WiFi, Double bed, Single bed, Desk, Chair and Locker (bring your own lock) in every room. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, warm, comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price close to the Lifts. If you are looking for luxury, youre in the wrong place. We are a Ski/Snowboard/Bike Lodge, plain and simple. Our building is old. It is clean and comfortable and has everything you need to have a great time in Whistler, without breaking the bank. You can always bring your gear into the rooms for piece of mind, bikes and skis included. We understand the two most important things are your laptop and your gear, and you want to keep them close. The Southside Lodge has 7 private cozy rooms available daily, weekly or monthly. We no longer offer shared accommodation. There is a shared full kitchen on the 3rd floor. The kitchen has two ranges, ovens, fridge/freezers and plenty of pots, pans, glassware, cutlery, etc. If you want to save money and cook your own food everything you need is there. That being said, the world famous Southside Diner is located on the ground floor. Theyre breakfasts are legendary and the line up on weekends is always out the door. There is a coin laundry, Southside Suds in the basement to keep your gear clean. Owned by the Southside Diner, the hours of operation are the same as the Southside Diner.

A Forest Spa Resort located in the lush forests of Texada Island, featuring 7 fully-equipped modern tiny homes, 8-person cedar hot tub, 12-person cliff-top wood-burning sauna, an outdoor event gazebo, an outdoor theatre, Side-By-Side Guided Tours, Paddleboard and E-Bike rentals, and other local activities. This completely restored Hudsons Bay Company post, located on the shores of Stuart Lake, was an economic powerhouse of trade and commerce in the 19th Century. It is the largest group of original wooden buildings depicting the fur trade in Canada and portrays the relationship between the fur traders and the Carrier First Nation. Costumed interpreters provide a first hand look at how people lived, ate, worked and died more than a century ago.

Historically, Island Mountain Arts has sought to provide opportunities for the exhibition of professional artists in northern BC, for the benefit of both artists and northern communities. Relative to major urban centres, there have been minimal venues for exhibitions in the north, resulting in limited access to cultural activities for residents of small, isolated, or northern communities. Prior to 1988, Island Mountain Arts occasionally produced professional exhibitions by partnering with venues in Wells such as the Wells-Barkerville School, the Community Hall and the Wells Hotel, to exhibit artwork. With the restoration of the Hill Meat Market building in 1988 and creation of a public gallery, IMA was at last able to provide a secure professional venue for exhibits in Wells.

During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer.
