Blasted Church Vineyards
While everyone enjoys the wine and the view when they come to visit, the most asked question would have to be about our name...On a cool spring morning in 1929, a small crew from Okanagan Falls set off to a deserted mining camp some 16 miles away from home. Their mission: to dismantle an old wooden church and bring it back to Okanagan Falls.The plan called for a controlled blast of four dynamite sticks inside the church in order to "loosen the nails". Odd as it may seem, the explosion spared the wood from damage during dismantling.Save for losing the steeple, the plan succeeded. Now the 103 year old wooden church stands proudly in its second home of Okanagan Falls and is still an operating United Church. In keeping with its rather remarkable history, the church has since withstood the threat of two major floods, including the disastrous burst of the Okanagan Falls Dam in the early 1950's.In naming our VQA wines "Blasted Church" we celebrate the ingenuity of the initiative to move the church and honor those pioneers for their vision.

Shirley’s Cozy Nest
Is situated in Deer Park which is a modern, quiet subdivision of Mill Bill. We are a leisurely walk to shopping, marina, and to Brentwood College. Close to a number of family restaurants to choose from. We are a fifteen minute drive from Golfing at Arbutus Ridge or Cowichan Valley Golf Course. A warm welcome awaits you at Shirleys Cozy Nest, with two large rooms which have comfortable queen sized beds. Continental or full cooked breakfast. At the end of the day relax in the secluded hot tub. .
Peachland Visitor Centre
Peachland is a picturesque community located in the Southern Interior of British Columbia, a part of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Region. Peachland boasts an uninterrupted 4-mile beach trail with an abundance of water activities such as paddle boarding and boat rentals. During Summer, Swim Bay (wheelchair accessible) is the only lifeguarded beach on Okanagan Lake. Walk the Ray Kandola Pier, which stretches along the Peachland shoreline for 408 feet. The pier offers fishing bays, benches, and beautiful unobstructed views. Situated across from Heritage Park, the Peachland Visitor Centre and Museum resides in the unique 8-sided former Baptist Church built in 1910. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible, and there is a large Model Train Display of the Kettle Valley Railway on the second floor; fun for all ages! Our volunteers are happy to provide visitors with friendly and knowledgeable information about local history, attractions, restaurants and accommodations. Come in and say hi!

Bradsdadsland Campground and Glampground on Hornby Island BC. Family oriented on the island's finest southwest exposure with cape cod chairs along the waterfront. Showers, indoor bathrooms, laundromat and playground. Sun and shade, view and private, grassy, full and semi serviced campsites. Monthly snowbirding available in the off season. Sasquatch Trails
Transportation for Powell River's Canoe Route and waterways. Transportation is what we do best. Needing a ride to your start point or to get home? How about a group trip? Maybe your vehicle isn't ready for the many miles of potholed dirt roads, mud and logging trucks to get to the lakes. Also, the Powell Forest Canoe Route isn't a full circle rather more U shaped. This is where our service is invaluable, we get you where you need to be in a safe and timely manner so you can get on with your adventure.
