Tours though this diverse environment can include Orca & Humpback whale sightings, wildlife encounters, salmon fishing, island hopping and great photo opportunities all of which is accessible only by boat. Size Matters! Small groups with a maximum of 6 guests that allows for a more personal experience. Full customised, private charters are available and families with small children are catered for. Family Friendly Music Lounge and Brewery. Our Kootenay crafted beer is made with pure untreated water. We don't use any additives, preservatives or filtration in our brewing process. Come sit down for a pint or take beer to go in growlers. Aside from beer we offer in our lounge wine, cider and non alcoholic drinks. Take advantage of our dry snacks or bring outside food in from any place you like.

The Vanderhoof Tourism and Cultural Centre opened its doors on June 30, 2022 and is located on the corner of Highway 16 and Pine Street on the traditional territory of Saikuz First Nation. Stop in to pick up some brochures, check out some local art, and chat with one of the friendly Visitor Services Specialists about the exciting things you can do in Vanderhoof. The Vanderhoof Community Museum is also located on these grounds. We encourage you to take a tour through our collection of six historic buildings at your own pace or with a guide. Admission is by donation and includes a large RV parking lot, free WIFI, wheelchair accessible picnic tables and a 1.5km interpretive walking trail. We hope to see you soon!
