The hosts will welcome you aboard the Laroan, the 62-foot Transport-Canada-certified boat. Outfitted with sightseeing decks, a BBQ grill, and a full kitchen/dining area, and washroom facilities, the boat acts as a home away from home during tours of the lake, as well as the Harrison River and Port Douglas. Facilities: Texas Creek Campground - 63 campsites, showers, flush toilets, boat launch. Marine Sites - 8 rustic sites accessible by boat only. Location: 20 km northeast of Grand Forks on Highway 3 at the north end of Christina Lake. Located on the popular Christina Lake in the Monashee Mountains, Gladstone Provincial Park offers fantastic camping and boating opportunities. The park also has 48 kms of hiking trails as well as backcountry horseback trails. Day-use and picnicking can be found at the nearby Christina Lake Provincial Park day-use area. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the Host Site. Marine Sites are user maintained. This Park is 100% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended. Texas Creek campground is open from the first weekend in May through the third weekend in September.

The Cariboo Ski Touring Club is a non-profit organization that caters to cross-country, skate skiing and snowshoers. We provide 75 km of groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing. We also have 10 km of snowshoe trails. We offer youth program, biatlhon and lessons. Rental Shop available for renting skiing and snowshoeing equipment. Day Lodge on site. Located in the village of Stuie, British Columbia on the banks of the Atnarko River, Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is located on the traditional territory of the Nuxalk and Ulkatcho First Nations. The lodge is located in an extraordinary area where the worlds most interconnected fjord system, the worlds largest temperate rainforest, and a dramatic mountain landscape of glaciers, plunging creeks, pristine rivers, and granite cliffs converge. Much of the area is now protected as part of The Great Bear Rainforest or Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. The area is renowned for its abundant wildlife and is one of the most pristine grizzly bear habitats in the world. The historic lodge has been welcoming guests since 1931. Guests of the lodge may select either a Small Group or a Private package. Come nightfall, guests stay in their own private chalet or elevated suite right at the forest's edge. All accommodations surround the large central lawn and offer excellent views with exceptional privacy.
