16 Mile Cabins
Off Grid Log cabin accommodations are located in Dease Lake, B.C an hour from the historic village of Telegraph Creek, BC and the Grand Canyon of the Stikine. 16 Mile Cabins offer 3 distinct and unique cabins to choose from along with two new tenting sites. Cabins are powered by solar and heated with wood stoves. Walking trails are around all the cabins for guests to get out and enjoy our northern boreal forest. Relax in nature. Picnic tables, fire pits, bbqs, Badminton net & rackets, mountain bikes, horseshoe pit, and hot tub rentals are some amenities offered . Our remote northern vacation stay is one of the last places in British Columbia that has no hydro poles or telephone poles. Come experience our northern boreal outdoor lifestyle.
Bulkley Valley Museum
Explore the natural and human history of Smithers and the surrounding Bulkley Valley at the Bulkley Valley Museum! Located in the historic Central Park Building, the Museum features engaging and informative temporary and permanent displays on local history and culture, including Driftwood Canyon fossils, Witsuwit'en (Wet'suwet'en) history, and the the mystery of the American B-36 bomber that crashed in the mountains near Hazelton. The Museum is fully accessible, has ample on-site parking for RVs, and a gender-neutral accessible washroom.

Sidney Street Market
During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer. The new location offers plenty of nearby parking, larger, less crowded laneways to walk, convenient public washrooms and a wonderful variety of local and regional growers, producers, artists, musicians and creators that consist of many of our old favourites along with loads of new, exciting vendors. All of this is still just steps away from beautiful downtown Sidney and the many shops, restaurants and waterfront walkway. The Sidney Famer's Market takes place everything Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm beginning on Mother's Day, May 8 and ending on September 25. The Famers Market features growers, producers and creators who "make, bake and grow" their products. Tourism Kamloops Visitor Centre
The BOLD Street Team provides mobile visitor services by popping up at popular locations and events across Kamloops to assist with information and provide resources to visitors and locals in the city. Our team is made up of tourism ambassadors with a passion for local attractions, outdoor adventures, and more. Keep an eye out for the Tourism Kamloops vehicle and pop-up tourism tent at local hotspots from May-September. Visitor Centre Closed The Kamloops Visitor Centre permanently closed in June 2020. All outdoor facilities – such as EV chargers, sani-dump station, dog run, and picnic benches – are still available for use. For public washrooms and immediate tourist information, please visit the Aberdeen Mall across the street during its hours of operation.
Sasquatch Mountain Resort
Sasquatch Mountain Resort is a small ski resort located in the Douglas Ranges near Harrison Lake, British Columbia, Canada, between the towns of Mission and Agassiz. Average annual snowfall at Hemlock Valley is 30-35 ft more than most other areas in Canada. The vertical drop is 396 m (1,300 ft) from a summit elevation of 1,371 m (4,500 ft) to a base elevation of 975m (3,300 ft). The area comprises 121 hectares (300 acres) and has 36 runs, the longest of which is 1.4 miles (2.3 km). The area has four lifts - one quad chair, one triple chair, one double chair and a beginner carpet. The resort features night skiing and tubing as well as 13 kilometres of trails for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.

Fraser Valley Heritage Railway
Open May to October Ride on an operating Heritage Railway. We are open Saturdays and Sundays May through October, from 9.30am until the last train returns at 4.00pm. Come out and see what we have to offer and go for a ride on the train.
