Our Swartz Bay location (at Canoe Cove Marina) offers the perfect launch spot for day exploring or multi-day adventures.

This beautiful campground ten minutes outside Vernon offers extensively renovated washrooms, tree lined sites with picnic tables and fire pits. Both unserviced tent sites and RV power and water sites are available. A well equipped store offers camping necessities, beverages and snacks. WiFi is also available. Ideal for residential groups of 10-40 people, the Centre offers an all-inclusive experience with full meal service and on-site opportunities for quiet reflection and spiritual path-making. Situated on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foot of Mount Benson in Nanaimo, the Centre is a 5-minute walk from a swimming beach, is surrounded by forest, and is connected to miles of hiking trails. The Centre has an outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth, a finger labyrinth museum, a gift shop, a library, an organic vegetable garden and a contained eco-system outdoor pond.
