Whether you are looking for a core workout our a relaxing paddle board session on the water our Stand Up Paddle Board option is as easy or difficult as you want it to be and fun for everyone. SUP Yoga is growing in popularity by the day and YES! We have that too. Kayaks can be rented or you can join a tour at our Kitsilano Beach Location. Our beautiful Log Lodge, unique Cedar Log Cottage, and our cozy Cabins are situated on a 64 hectare private property with magnificent views of the Purcell and Rocky Mountains. We are located 15 Km northwest of Golden, nestled in-between 5 National parks. The peace and tranquility you will experience in our accommodations will stand out in your memories for years to come. The Log Lodge accommodates up to 8 guests, the Skyberg Cottage up to 6 guests and our Moberly or Red Indian cabins each sleeps either 2 adults or a family of 4. Accommodations at it's best. Both summer and winter activities abound with available guided tours and rentals. Ski and Stay packages are available for Golden's own Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, only 25 minutes away. The relaxing atmosphere and the friendly people here at Blaeberry Mountain Lodge will make this place feel like your home away from home. All units at our Mountain Lodge are well equipped and provide you with a cozy comfortable welcoming feeling. There are kitchens, comfortable living areas and cozy lofts, the woodstoves all have glass windows. Bedrooms either have twin or queen size beds, towels bedding and kitchen utilities are provided. Malahat SkyWalk opened in July 2021 as the newest outdoor experience providing the ultimate natural high on Vancouver Island located 35 minutes north of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Accessible by all ages and wheelchair-friendly, it will immerse visitors in nature as they embark on a 600 metre-long elevated walkway through an expansive Arbutus and Douglas Fir forest, leading to a 10-storey, architecturally-inspiring spiral tower lookout the first of its kind in B.C. Rising 250 metres above sea level, guests can enjoy 360-degree views of islands, inlets, fjords, forests and mountains in two countries. The Nechako White Sturgeon Conservation Centre hatchery program is dedicated to maintaining genetic diversity and conserving the population of the Nechako White Sturgeon. The hatchery is used to rear sturgeon eggs into one-year old sturgeon for release into the river. Research projects and programs also run out of the hatchery. Visitor Hours: Tours currently available by appointment only. As of Thursday April 24, tours will be available at 2pm daily (including weekends). Specific tour time requests are still available and approved based on operations and staff availability.
