Vagabond Lodge
The Vagabond Lodge, is a boutique lodge located at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Golden BC. All rooms are located on the upper level of this 3 story building. There is no elevator just so you are aware. The beautifully decorated rooms all have great views of the majestic Rocky Mountains. All bedrooms have private bathrooms with shower/tub enclosures and all bathrooms have heated floors. Vagabond Lodge does not have air conditioning but for the few days in the mountains where it may be considered hot by some standards, the windows all open to the fresh mountain air. A hearty and healthy breakfast featuring sourdough bread, eggs, pancakes, yogurt, cereals and more is complimentary. Lower level features a pool table, games area with all sorts of board games and access to sauna and outdoor hot tub.

Parwood Disc Golf Course
Parwood is an 18 hole disc golf course located in Sparwood, BC. The course is rugged and is built on the side of a mountain. The course is made up of 18 Innova baskets with yellow metal bands. The course is located at the end of the old ski hill road (Sparwood Heights Drive), behind Sycamore Rd. Visit the Leisure Centre (367 Pine Ave) to get maps, discs, brochures and instructions.
Macaloney’s Island Distillery & Twa Dogs Brewery
Macaloney's Island Distillery & Twa Dogs Brewery is a producer of premium malt whiskies and superb craft beers. Our basic tour lasts 45 mins and begins in our visitors centre and flows the way the spirits go, past the grist mill where you can taste some of the various strains of malted & un- malted barley, or other cereals that we as a craft brewer as well as a distiller get to play and experiment with. Onward into the heart of the Brew & Still house through the smells of the mash tun & wash backs, past the gleaming swan necked Stills and then up into the warehouse and bottling hall before returning back to the visitors centre for a wee dram of two of the whiskies in our Macaloney Cask Selection series along with three of our craft beers. Open May to October Ride on an operating Heritage Railway. We are open Saturdays and Sundays May through October, from 9.30am until the last train returns at 4.00pm. Come out and see what we have to offer and go for a ride on the train.

Taking a seaplane flight is a quintessential Pacific Northwest experience & Kenmore Air makes it easy to enjoy the unique thrill of flying off Lake Union & soaring over one of the most beautiful areas in the world. Our 25-minute narrated Seattle Scenic Flight Tour leaves several times a day. Or take an incredible 90-minute scenic flight Volcano Tour from Seattle's Boeing Field that flies you around Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens 2-mile wide crater getting you up close and personal. And our full day whale watching tour (March-October) from Seattle to the San Juan Islands is unforgettable: hop on a seaplane from downtown Seattle in the morning, take a 3-hour naturalist-led boat tour looking for whales, sea lions & bald eagles, then return to Seattle in the late afternoon.
