We are a family owned and operated lakefront resort with lodging in modern, well-maintained cabins and RV park. We offer pontoon boat, aluminum boat with motor, kayak and canoe rentals. Each cabin and RV site has it's own assigned dock space. The fishing is great, Loon Lake has native rainbow trout only; it not stocked, but the fish are plentiful. Beautiful natural landscape with riparian shoreline. There is no beach, but enjoying a float, swimming off the end of the docks and jumping off a rented pontoon boat are very popular water activities on hot days. RV park has coin operated showers, bathrooms, firepits, free firewood and is pet friendly.

Although our heritage-listed building dates from 1900, Cloudside is a totally new hotel right in the heart of Nelson's historic downtown, offering stylish, contemporary alternative to standard accommodations for the discerning traveler. With just eight guest rooms (three of which have two separate bedrooms), we offer a high level of personal service and attention to detail.
