We have created a place unlike any other, steeped in history and the stories of people once brought by rail, now inspired by a passion for nature, this is a place to unplug and reconnect. To this end, we offer a comprehensive event experience, with everything from canoeing to yoga to guided activities all available in one extraordinary setting. We are a family-run fully serviced RV park and cabin resort. We have 4 rustic lakefront 2-bedroom cabins and 3 smaller 2-room cabins nestled on the shores of Pinantan Lake BC. As of May 2, 2022 we are under new ownership and management.

You can stay in a modern cozy villa or one of our serviced RV sites. We are only a short walk to the very relaxing Kettle River. There you can catch a trout or take a very enjoyable float down the peaceful river. We have an abundance of wild life on and around the property. Everything from song birds and birds of prey to deer and elk.

Just south of the Alaska panhandle and located within Canada's only grizzly bear protected area, Khutzeymateen Wilderness Lodge is your home in the wilderness where you can visit with the grizzly bears in the wild. No roads, no towns...just wilderness and wildlife. Climb into the floatplane and take off from Prince Rupert, BC for a 20 minute flight over mountains and inlets to the Khutzeymateen. Our days are filled with searching for grizzly bears in the lush Khutzeymateen Inlet and estuary, with bald eagles, seabirds, seals, waterfalls and mountains. We are trained and certified under the Commercial Bear Viewing Association of BC.
