Vaseux Lake Provincial Park is a popular roadside campground that provides excellent fishing opportunities for bass, trout and carp. This park boasts beautiful lakeside sites. It is conveniently located on Highway 97 between OK Falls and Oliver. It is minutes away from amenities and popular tourist spots. Viewing platforms at Vaseux Wildlife Centre offer excellent nature sighting opportunities for birds, aquatic life, mountain goats and big horn sheep. Park users at Vaseux Wildlife Centre should use caution as poison ivy is common in the area. Open from the first weekend in April through Thanksgiving Weekend.

Caravan Farm Theatre is a not-for-profit professional outdoor theatre company based on an 80 acre farm near Armstrong BC. Hailed as a national treasure, Caravan Farm Theatre has been entertaining audiences young & old, from near & far, since 1978.

A year-round lakeside resort offering self-contained cottages and suites, some with private hot tubs. Every unit is on the lakefront with a breathtaking lakeview from a private deck. Lake activities enjoyed include fishing, swimming, canoeing, ice fishing and boating. Complimentary canoes and rowboats are available. Local trails are great for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. Many trails accessible by quad, ATV and snowmobile. We are on the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer. Castlegar Sculpturewalk is an annual exhibition of outdoor sculptures, located on a pleasant walking tour in downtown Castlegar. Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite sculpture via ballot - the winner of the People's Choice award is purchased by the City for the permanent collections. All of the artworks are available for sale or lease. Ballots/maps are located in red ballot boxes along the route (the start of the route is at the Kootenay Market (635 Columbia Avenue), though you can begin the walk from anywhere. Ridge Wilderness Adventures and Rentals is an outdoor adventure canoeing company operating in the Lower Mainland. We work with many school groups, girl guides, scouts and private groups all over BC, offering many day trips, overnights and multi-day canoe and camping adventures. We also provide canoe lessons throughout the summer season, and Red Cross Certified First Aid September to June each year. We specialize in Wilderness First Aid and our hands on instructors provide high level wilderness first aid instruction to SAR,DFO, and BC Parks ; as well as public first aid programs offered locally in Langley, Chilliwack, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island.
