A gem of Vancouver Island Heritage; Filberg Park is nine acres of breathtakingly landscaped waterfront green space, gardens and heritage buildings, in Comox, British Columbia. The park features 130 varieties of trees, seasonal gardens, and hundreds of rhododendrons.At the heart of the site is the 1930s heritage lodge, the former home of local pioneers Robert and Florence Filberg. Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park have become a popular venue for picnics, weddings, art shows and special events including the popular Filberg Festival held each year on BC Day long weekend in August. Amenities include the Filberg Gift Shop* and Filberg Tea House. Both are open seasonally May to September.Entry to the Lodge is by donation and the park is free of charge except during special events. *Lodge and Gift Shop are open subject to volunteer availability.

Knight Inlet Lodge is Canada's premier grizzly bear viewing destination. With nearly 40 years of experience and a world wide reputation for excellence we are the place to see grizzly bears in British Columbia. Our remote floating lodge has 18 guests rooms and offers a full range of activities for our guests including hiking, kayaking, marine wildlife tours, tracking and whale watching. Open from mid May until mid October with packages starting on any day of the week.

Fair Harbour Marina and Campground is happy to provide a 26 site campground, 4 rental cabins, fuel and moorage docks, boat launch, general store, washrooms and showers and laundry facilities at the Gateway to Kyuquot. Henry's carving shed is a West Coast authentic workshop, with a small community of hard working wood carvers. We are always at work, greeting people from everywhere and demonstrating the ancient art form of carving with hand tools. Artwork can be bought or commissioned on site and we can organize shipping.
