Island View Beach Regional Park
This seasonal government-run campground on the ocean offers affordable RV and tent camping in nature with fabulous panoramic seascape views. It features a long sandy beach, bird watching, nature events, a variety of walking trails, including a user-friendly loop trail. It is close to the ferry, airport, downtown Victoria and the Lochside Regional Trail. The campground has 18 beach front RV sites, 5 treed tent trailer sites and 24 treed tent sites, and all campsites are self-contained. Sites are reservable online only, up to 30 days in advance; no first-come first-serve. All sites $25/night; $10 for each additional vehicle. Payable online by Visa or Mastercard. The Gallery at Queen’s Park
The Gallery at Queens Park is a community art gallery program that has provided a venue for emerging and established artists to showcase their work since 1985. Over the year, 12 exhibitions are presented in two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums such as painting, photography, pottery, wood carving, bronze statues, and more. Artists are provided exhibition space free of charge and share their work with the community of New Westminster. Temporarily closed until August 31, 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Administration is currently taking appointments on a limited basis.

Forest Rose Campground
This forested campground offers a sunny creek-side setting for campers of all kinds, with more trees and privacy on the north end in the first-come, first-served section and sunnier pull-through sites on the south end in the reservable section. Forest Rose Campground has 30 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 26 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, and a washroom building with flush toilets, potable water, and coin-operated showers. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 55 feet long and 13 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs. Forest Rose Campground is located off of the Bowron Lake Road, along the east side of Williams Creek and a stone's throw from the Barkerville Highway. It's 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Forest Rose via the highway, or cross the highway on foot to access a well-groomed walking path. Forest Rose Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.

London Farm
Explore the fully restored and furnished late Victorian London Farm House (1898), illustrating rural life in Richmond between 1890 and 1920. London Farm is one of the earliest farm sites in Richmond, and features the home of Charles and Henrietta London, who built a small house on site in 1898 and then added to it in 1906. The farm produced dairy products, oats, wheat barley, fruit from an orchard and vegetables. This riverfront land became known as Londons landing and a wharf was built on the property to provide greater access to the river to send farm products to market. Today, visitors can enjoy beautiful heritage perennial flowers, a kitchen and herb garden, an outside exhibit of large, antique farm equipment and chickens.
