Blue Mountain is an estate dedicated to producing complex wines, consistent in style and quality from year to year. Located at south end of the valley with 31 hectares of vines planted, the property supplied grapes to other wineries for 21 years before the Mavety family founded the winery in 1991. In addition to Pinot Noir, the 12,000-case yearly production consists of Gamay Noir, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and a méthode traditionnel sparkling wine, all from estate grown grapes.

We are a little farm based in Lantzville (seven minutes north of Nanaimo) on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We are Nanaimo area's family destination for fun! Stop by and visit the adorable miniature animals in our petting farm, and peruse the delightful home decor shop on site where you can pick up a t-shirt or a locally made soap! Pick up a farm-grown bee-friendly hanging basket, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outside. We offer birthday parties, workshops, and often host concerts. Tidy modern washrooms on site. Coastal Black is a family owned and operated fruit winery, meadery and cidery. All our wines and ciders are hand-crafted on site. Festivals include access to the lower farm where you can visit our miniature highland cow and other farm animals, have fun on our huge bouncing pillow, play backyard games and more. Outside access motel rooms on 2 floors. One bedrooms have Queen or King (xtra charge) Sealy posturepedic mattresses. Two bed rooms have xtra long doubles. Executive rooms with jetted tubs. All rooms have air-conditioning/heat, wireless internet, coffee, fridges, some with microwaves, cable, movies. Kitchenettes available (xtra charge).
