Backyard Vineyards is nestled in the lush countryside of south Langley, less than an hour's drive from Vancouver. At Backyard Vineyards they harvest from their own Fraser Valley Estate vineyards and from their farmers' vineyards in the Okanagan Valley. Since opening in 2009 their wines have been recognized both locally and internationally, winning over 30 medals for quality and flavour. Reaching dedicated wine lovers and new tasters alike, they pride themselves in producing exceptional BC VQA wines at affordable prices. The tasting room and wine shop is open year round, providing an intimate setting to sample and enjoy. In the summertime visitors are welcome to take a stroll through the estate vineyard or enjoy a glass of wine paired with one of their delicious tasting platters under the beautiful outdoor covered gazebo. They host several exciting events throughout the year and are happy to accommodate private tours and events. Two separate suites, both with private 3-piece ensuite and kitchenette, top of the line queen beds, heated tile floors, beautiful Pender Harbour view, huge deck with hot-tub and BBQ, and including a delicious 3-course breakfast. Located just minutes from Madeira Park with all its amenities, we are ideally located close to the many activities that the "Venice of the North" has to offer. We also have recently added a small but cozy "backpacker/cyclist" cabin at a reduced cost. It has a heated floor, private bathroom and shower, and feels very much like a "Tree House".

Sasquatch Mountain Resort is a small ski resort located in the Douglas Ranges near Harrison Lake, British Columbia, Canada, between the towns of Mission and Agassiz. Average annual snowfall at Hemlock Valley is 30-35 ft more than most other areas in Canada. The vertical drop is 396 m (1,300 ft) from a summit elevation of 1,371 m (4,500 ft) to a base elevation of 975m (3,300 ft). The area comprises 121 hectares (300 acres) and has 36 runs, the longest of which is 1.4 miles (2.3 km). The area has four lifts - one quad chair, one triple chair, one double chair and a beginner carpet. The resort features night skiing and tubing as well as 13 kilometres of trails for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.

A Truly Victorian Heritage InnAmethyst Inn is a fully-restored historic mansion dating from 1885. A few of our many features are 13 foot ceilings, period furniture and antiques. There are cosy fireplaces in most rooms. In the parlour we serve a full breakfast on antique crystal and china. To help you unwind there are jacuzzis in some of our rooms, and dont worry about your car: we have lots of secure, free parking on our property.
