A scenic 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver, situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Up The Creek Backpacker's Lodge is 14km from the ferry terminal at Langdale. It is a charismatic, family-run cedar house nestled amongst many large cedar and fir trees, and is an easy 10-minute walk to the "Heart of the Roberts Creek". The lodge includes a guest kitchen, large sun-deck with hammocks and barbecue, friendly common areas, free loaner bikes, boardgames, and a resource library and book swap. You will have the choice to stay in our 7 bed-dorm Arbutus, or in one of our 3 private rooms: the Fir room (up to 4 people), the Cedar room (up to 5 people), and our lovely Cherry Cabin situated in our garden (up to 2 people). Bootleg Gap Golf, located in Kimberley British Columbia, is truly a complete golf facility. With 27 outstanding holes, and a stunning location along the St. Mary River. The Championship course at Bootleg Gap is highlighted with the 12th, a dramatic par-3 that swoops down into the hoodoo-lined hillside and is one of the most scenic par-3s in the region. For variety try the Recreational 9; it's a hybrid and fun for every level of player.

We offer 25 spacious campsites, 1 tipi site and 8 log cabins for nightly stays from May - October. The campsites are unserviced and include a picnic table and fire ring. The campground has outhouses with water for hand washing, a shared dishwashing sink and outdoor shower. Inside cabin includes bathrooms with showers and hot water, a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, dishes and a variety of sleeping arrangements in the loft. The cabins are all facing towards the wetlands with a view of the Valley. There is a deck out front each cabin with a BBQ and element for cooking, a picnic table and fire ring.

Located at the hub of the Pacific Rim, the Alberni Valley has many treasures for you to discover. Nestled amongst the evergreens under the ever watchful presence of Mount Arrowsmith, you will find one of these at the Alberni Golf Club. This traditional golf course has a rich history extending back to the 1920's. While there have been many improvements to the course over the years you can nevertheless feel the spirit of those who have roamed the fairways before you. There is ample enjoyment and challenge for golfers of all skill levels. This par 70 jewel follows the contours of a salmon bearing stream which comes into play on several holes and also makes its annual contribution to the world's salmon capital, Port Alberni.
