Wild Bear Lodge (formerly Grizzly Bear Ranch) is a small, specialised wilderness lodge about halfway between Vancouver and Calgary. We are located in the worlds only inland temperate rainforest, a vast hideaway of ancient mountains, old-growth trees, and fast-flowing rivers. We offer some of the most exciting and natural bear-viewing, nature and wilderness holidays in north America, against a backdrop of some of western Canadas most dramatic terrain.

Our easily accessible, backcountry ski lodge, located just a 90-minute drive north of Nelson, BC is your gateway to some of the Kootenays BCs best steep tree skiing and deepest powder. We cater to advanced-expert, skiers and snowboarders who love riding terrain features like steep chutes, drops, and those cushy pillows of prime Kootenay Coldsmoke. We provide an intimate experience with no more than 12 guests in our lodge and snowcat at any time. At White Grizzly, theres always a warm Kootenay welcome and a passion for outdoor adventure. Join us on a guided tour through beautiful snowshoe designated trails in the sub-alpine forests of the Selkirk Mountains. Tour includes snowshoes, tea, snacks and a gondola ride.

The Kootenay Lake Historical Society is the custodian of the S.S. Moyie, the world's oldest intact passenger sternwheeler. The Moyie plied Kootenay Lake for 59 years - it is now a National Historic Site and Museum. Open from May through October, visitors are taken back in time when the board the vessel. Fun for families and people of all ages!

Located on the shores of Kootenay Lake at the Nelson Airport, Kootenay Lake Aviation is open all year for your aviation needs. We offer scenic flights, air charters, and flight training.

Situated in the Trail Riverfront Centre, the Trail Museum & Archives offers a glimpse into Trail's long history as a pioneer industrial town and sports haven. Feel free to contact staff in advance to ensure your group are able to visit together. While masks are not required, they are encouraged! The Trail Museum & Archives shares space with the Trail & District Public Library. Plentiful paid, on-street parking is available, with one free RV parking stall. We are also situated one block from the main public transit hub in downtown Trail. Feel free to contact staff in advance for any questions you may have. Family Friendly Music Lounge and Brewery. Our Kootenay crafted beer is made with pure untreated water. We don't use any additives, preservatives or filtration in our brewing process. Come sit down for a pint or take beer to go in growlers. Aside from beer we offer in our lounge wine, cider and non alcoholic drinks. Take advantage of our dry snacks or bring outside food in from any place you like.

Blanket Glacier Chalet is the remote backcountry arena that puts you right where you want to be for backcountry touring. A short helicopter ride from Revelstoke brings you deep into the Gold Range of the Monashee Mountains. From the front door, easily access terrain for any flavour or vibe depending on conditions. EH-FRAME CHALET Stay in a cozy A-frame chalet for 12-14 people with everything you need and some of what you dont. Wood burning sauna, chef providing all home cooked meals, along with two certified ACMG guides to show you the goods. No WiFi, no problems. Everything included with 4 and 5 day guided and catered packages. Heli flights, lodging, home cooked meals, local guides on your vibe and beer all in.

Small commercial family owned winery with a beautiful rustic chick onsite Guesthouse. This is the only winery in this area and one the the whole community is proud of. We are proud of our multiple award winning wines and love sharing tastings and knowledge with visitors. The Grape Escape Guesthouse is perfect to stay overnight or for a eventst venue.
