Malahat SkyWalk opened in July 2021 as the newest outdoor experience providing the ultimate natural high on Vancouver Island located 35 minutes north of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Accessible by all ages and wheelchair-friendly, it will immerse visitors in nature as they embark on a 600 metre-long elevated walkway through an expansive Arbutus and Douglas Fir forest, leading to a 10-storey, architecturally-inspiring spiral tower lookout the first of its kind in B.C. Rising 250 metres above sea level, guests can enjoy 360-degree views of islands, inlets, fjords, forests and mountains in two countries. An adventure net suspended partially across the centre of the Spiral Tower provides daring guests with another breathtaking perspective on the spiraling structure below before returning to ground level with an option to take an exhilarating ride down a 20 metre (65 ft) spiral slide. Holly Hill Petting Farm is the proud home of Vancouver Island's only baby wallabies! We're an interactive and expansive petting farm nestled in the heart of Campbell River. There's always something special happening at the farm, from the Christmas Stable with Santa to the Easter Extravaganza and Pumpkin Patch. From March through October, you're invited to explore and immerse yourself in our free-ranging barnyard. Get ready for a truly hands-on experience as you hold chickens, snuggle baby bunnies, brush mini goats, and hand-feed our friendly alpacas and horse. If you're lucky, you might even witness the birth of a newborn sheep or goat! Currently open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for drop-in visitors.
