The Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery is a multi-faceted organization with a history museum exhibition, regional archives, two contemporary gallery spaces and a fabulous gift shop. The history museum features an introduction to the Sinixt and Ktunaxa nations, culture and perspectives, the history of European exploration and the challenges of trade and travel routes, and how various industries such mining, transportation, hydroelectricity affected the area and the creation of the Queen City. Stellar Descents offers whitewater rafting trips, scenic float tours, Stand-Up Paddleboarding tours and lessons and whitewater kayak instruction. They are passionate river enthusiasts who love to share what the beautiful Robson Valley has to offer. Stellar Descents is located 20 minutes North of Valemount BC in the small community of Tete-Jaune Cache, or a short 1 hour trip west of Jasper passing through Mount Robson Provincial Park.

The Stanley Park Railway is one of Vancouver's most popular attractions, welcoming over 200,000 visitors per year. Situated on a site cleared by Typhoon Freda in 1962, the two kilometer track travels through the forest in iconic Stanley Park. Kids of all ages will enjoy the fun relaxing ride in a replica of Canadian Pacific Railway Engine #374, famous for pulling Canada's first transcontinental passenger train into Vancouver in the late 1880s. The railway hosts events for Easter, Halloween and Christmas and is open for the summer from end-June through Labour Day.

The 100 Mile Nordics operate a groomed trail network for nordic skiing. Our lodge serves up hot soup and snacks daily. Rentals for skiing and snowshoeing are available. Night use is available until 10pm with the assistance of a timed lighting system. Payment at night is made in the honour box next to the lighting system.
