Old world opulence blends with new world convenience. Secluded on a 160-acre estate Rowenas Inn on the River has two identities: The first is a 1920s colonial feel. The inn, once the home of the Pretty Family, is now a grand, English-style boutique resort facing the Harrison River. The rooms offer waterfront or garden views. Large windows bathe the European-infused elegance in natural light and the furniture exemplifies a timeless stylishness. The second identity is our 1 bedroom rustic classic cottages with jacuzzi tubs, heated floors, and wood-burning fireplaces and our nature luxury series cabins which come in 1,2, or 3 bedroom layouts with larger living spaces, smart TVs, and kitchens .

Our Visitor Centre is at the gateway to the Thompson Okanagan region of British Columbia. Our staff are welcoming and provide knowledgable travelling advice for the surrounding area. The Centre itself is the perfect rest stop, offering magnificent views of Okanagan Lake, plenty of parking space, a picnic area, pristine washrooms, free WiFi and EV charging stations. We are wheelchair accessible and our gift shop features Indigenous works & local artisanal goods, in addition to snacks, drinks, ice cream and coffee. We offer free information and resources on activities and resources for the Thompson Okanagan region and other parts of British Columbia.

ArtCraft is the longest running fine arts and crafts shows in BC and the home to the work of over 100 fine artists and craftspeople, representing the very best of Salt Spring and the Gulf Islands. On show is everything imaginable from fine oil paintings, ceramics, woodwork, jewelry, basketry, fibre arts to handmade soaps.Located in downtown Ganges, in historic Mahon hall, it is one of the "must see" attractions of any visit to Salt Spring.

Kekuli Cafe  is a locally owned Aboriginal Cuisine Cafe Coffee shop! Serving everything on Bannock, with Bannock. Breakfast Served All day, Lunch & Dinner. Your gathering place for meetings, music, coffee groups & more.

Sept 4 to Dec 20 2025 Carr House is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10-4 for self-guided tours. Wander around the garden, explore the house, and browse the gift shop! Guided tours are offered on Fridays and Saturdays at 10, Noon, and 2 p.m. Carr House closes occasionally for special events. Please call ahead to confirm hours.

Let us take you on a tour in Canadas only desert along vineyards and through sagebrush overlooking Lake Osoyoos on our amazing horses. We offer guided horse-back trail rides for ages 8 and up.

The Richmond Art Gallery is the City of Richmond's Public Art Gallery, supported by the Richmond Art Gallery Association. RAGA is an independent, non-profit society formed to support the gallery of the City of Richmond. The Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre is a community museum that explores the human and natural heritage of the region from Sooke to Port Renfrew. The museum also operates the local visitor information centre for the region. We have both exhibits in the main museum building and around the grounds. In the Summer we are open 7 days a week. In the off season we are closed Mondays and most Stat holidays. Starting the first Thursday in June, and running until first Thursday in September, we host a night market from 5pm to 8pm and museum stays open during this event.We also usually are closed over Christmas and the first week of January. The museum holds various special event during the year, has a gift shop with local arts & crafts, plus can do special meals for pre-booked tour groups.

The South Cariboo Visitor Centre is a charming log building and home of the unofficial "World's Largest X-Country Skis". Located along the 100 Mile Marsh, it's a great stop for a picnic and bird watching. For your convenience, restrooms, wireless internet, fenced picnic area and tons of information are available to you! Ask a knowledgeable and friendly Visitor Information Counsellor for assistance with local or provincial information and you won't be disappointed! Also enjoy a lovely selection of unique souvenirs and books for sale. We are OPEN year round so stop on by!
