The Raptors offer compelling and interactive experiences with a variety of birds of prey species including eagles, hawks, falcons and owls. Get closer than you ever imagined to these majestic and intelligent creatures. Flying demonstrations, hands-on encounters and educational talks offered daily (March - October). The Raptors is located in the heart of the beautiful Cowichan Valley, just 60 minutes north of Downtown Victoria and 45 minutes south of Downtown Nanaimo by car.

Featuring well sculptured and meticulously maintained fairways and greens, Canadian architect Ted Baker designed McCleery Golf Course to offer a target-style golf challenge. With its narrow fairways and many water hazards, the advantage will be on the side of the accurate golfer to challenge this beautiful course graced by mature trees and many water hazards. With a newly renovated driving range featuring additional stalls, onsite washrooms, a private teaching room, and extended hours of operation, McCleery is the place to go to improve all facets of your game.

Nestled in centuries-old forest and surrounded by the West Coasts idyllic landscape, Sandpiper Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole golf course. Open 364 days a year, this par 72 course runs 6,500 yards from the back tees, and is gently sloped featuring four sets of tees for all playing abilities. Sandpiper is heralded as one of British Columbias best resort courses, is renowned for its adventure packages, and, is consecutively, voted by the province as the #1 golf course in the Fraser Valley. Canadian course designer, Russ Olsen, has done an awesome job of taking advantage of the spectacular water and mountain vistas. Metchosin ArtPod is an artist-run collective and gallery located in the rural village of Metchosin, on Greater Victorias West Shore. We support local visual artists by offering opportunities to learn, create, show, and sell original work, and offer the community a venue for engaging with the visual arts. We offer: open calls for art submissions to artists in our region and beyond; externally juried art shows and sales in a professional, gallery setting; show opening events, featured artist talks and discussion forums; weekly drop-in art sessions (Watercolour, Figure Drawing, Nature Sketching); monthly art workshops, resource networks and learning opportunities. Art atelier drop-ins are held during the week, and the gallery is open Fri -Sun, 11-4. We are located in a rural village, surrounded by cafes, a micro-brewery, artist studios, historic sites, and many farms, parks and trails. So many options for art lovers Well worth a visit!

Clos du Soleil is a small artisan winery and estate vineyard on the Upper Bench of the South Similkameen Valley, in British Columbia, Canada. We produce ultra-premium quality wines, borrowing an aesthetic derived from the great wines of Bordeaux, but stamped with the flavours and aromas of our particular piece of rocky Similkameen land.
