The Trail Museum & Archives shares space with the Trail & District Public Library. Plentiful paid, on-street parking is available, with one free RV parking stall. We are also situated one block from the main public transit hub in downtown Trail. Feel free to contact staff in advance for any questions you may have. The Canadian Museum of Flight is a great family day out. We inspire young people towards a passion for aviation and for science and technology more generally. We tell stories of our rich Canadian aviation history, stories people want to hear and stories people want told. Our hangar is packed with interesting displays and models, fascinating memorabilia and more. Our Museum is a very hands-on facility. Many of our aircraft can be touched, gently. Children can discover aircraft made not only from aluminum, but also from wood and fabric. Weather permitting, several aircraft are open for sitting and dreaming by kids (of all ages). Photo op! Since 1958, the Museum has moved several times. The current configuration has the Museum housed in the Citys former City Hall building while the object storage and Chilliwack Archives are housed in a municipally owned structure three blocks from the museum. The Museum and Archives are governed by the Chilliwack Museum and Historical Society. The Chilliwack Museum and Archives is committed to connecting you with Chilliwack's history through a series of exhibitions, programs and events.
