Lillooet Farmers’ Market
Cariboo & Gold Rush Trail
Every Friday morning, Main Street transforms into a bustling social hub for the community as market vendors and locals gather for the Lillooet Farmers' Market. At the market, you'll find a variety of locally-grown fruits and vegetables and stalls offering freshly baked goods, delicious canned preserves and organic meats, and beautiful Indigenous art.
Peachland Visitor Centre
Okanagan Valley
Peachland is a picturesque community located in the Southern Interior of British Columbia, a part of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Region. Peachland boasts an uninterrupted 4-mile beach trail with an abundance of water activities such as paddle boarding and boat rentals. During Summer, Swim Bay (wheelchair accessible) is the only lifeguarded beach on Okanagan Lake. Walk the Ray Kandola Pier, which stretches along the Peachland shoreline for 408 feet. The pier offers fishing bays, benches, and beautiful unobstructed views. Situated across from Heritage Park, the Peachland Visitor Centre and Museum resides in the unique 8-sided former Baptist Church built in 1910. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible, and there is a large Model Train Display of the Kettle Valley Railway on the second floor; fun for all ages! Our volunteers are happy to provide visitors with friendly and knowledgeable information about local history, attractions, restaurants and accommodations. Come in and say hi!
Hudson’s Hope Museum
Hudson's Hope
Hudson's Hope is situated on the banks of the Peace River in North Eastern British Columbia. It is a small rural town of 1100 people, some 80kms from the nearest major Peace River city of Fort St. John and 375kms from the regional city of Prince George. After the exploratory adventures of Alexander Mackenzie and Simon Fraser in the later 1700s, the Northwest Trading Company established a fur trading post here in 1805. Hudsons Hope is home to one of the worlds largest earthen dams, the W.A.C. Bennett Dam and G.M.Shrum Generating Station. This dam stretches 2 kms across the Peace River creating B.C.s largest reservoir, Williston Lake, covering 410,000 acres.
