The Canadian Museum of Flight is a great family day out. We inspire young people towards a passion for aviation and for science and technology more generally. We tell stories of our rich Canadian aviation history, stories people want to hear and stories people want told. Our hangar is packed with interesting displays and models, fascinating memorabilia and more. Our Museum is a very hands-on facility. Many of our aircraft can be touched, gently. Children can discover aircraft made not only from aluminum, but also from wood and fabric. Weather permitting, several aircraft are open for sitting and dreaming by kids (of all ages). Photo op! Located on peaceful Denman Island, Fillongley Provincial Park is a short 10-minute ferry crossing from Buckley Bay (located between Qualicum Beach and the town of Courtenay). Fillongley is a popular small campground. It has 10 oceanside, compact campsites. It is 80% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of campsites available. This is the only provincial campground on Denman Island; campers may camp in the adjacent day-use parking lot overnight when the main campground is full (regular camping fees apply to overflow camping).

This is the perfect name for our resort... it's so peaceful at the resort beside the pristine waters of Lac des Roches. Our pictures of the cabins so aptly display the many times the Lake is like glass... camp just feet away from the water's edge and enjoy the eerie yet calming call of the many loons... campfire evenings with friends and family are our specialty. Our hobby farm consists of an array of pets and a horse plus plenty of wildlife. We have an abundance of wildlife that live around our farm; our resident deer had her fawn on our property last year. Waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee on the privacy of your own deck listening to all the birds and occasionally catching a glimpse of the local deer and her babes is truly magical. This year she has twins and I seen them for the first time romping through a field of daisies. Crazy lucky I feel to live here and enjoy these moments. Both cottages are now fully equipped with kitchenettes so you may have options to cook a light meal at home or for a special occasion please ask and I am happy to offer breakfast or late afternoon cheese plate served to you out in your hideaway.

We are a 100% certified organic cidery located on the beautiful Salt Spring Island. We bought our property in 2011 and became certified organic shortly after in 2013. Currently, the ingredients in the majority of our products are grown on property using our over 3,500 apple trees consisting of over 450 varieties. What we dont source from our orchard, we get from other farms on Salt Spring Island. We mainly focus on dry cider as we feel it best captures the complexity and taste of our apples, however with our incredible range of 16 ciders, we have something for everyone. If our ciders didnt catch your attention, the view from our tasting room and orchard sure will! We sit on over 3 acres of land with an unbelievable view of the water and mountains.
