We are open 7 days a week with a full rental fleet of skis and snowboards in the winter. Bicycles, surfboards, paddleboards, wetsuits, camp gear and everything else you need is available year round. Our fitness equipment, including treadmills, stationary and recumbent bikes and ellipticals is available for rent at affordable prices. In addition to rentals, Sports Rent sells new bicycles, ski equipment and camping gear at discounted prices as well as providing servicing on customer skis, boards and bikes. We are easy to find, with free parking while you shop. Reservations are accepted by telephone with credit card payment so we can have your equipment ready when you arrive. Located in the stunning Shuswap Lake region of British Columbia, Selah sits atop a hill overlooking Copper Island. This seasonal government-run campground on the ocean offers affordable RV and tent camping in nature with fabulous panoramic seascape views. It features a long sandy beach, bird watching, nature events, a variety of walking trails, including a user-friendly loop trail. It is close to the ferry, airport, downtown Victoria and the Lochside Regional Trail. The campground has 18 beach front RV sites, 5 treed tent trailer sites and 24 treed tent sites, and all campsites are self-contained. In Valemount's original Railway Station from 1914, the Valemount & Area Museum showcases how the pioneers of the Robson Valley lived during the last century. Farming, forestry and fur fueled the economy. All of this is lovingly displayed by the Valemount Historic Society, descendants of those pioneers, whom opened the museum in 1992, after nearly 5 years of restoring and refurbishing. Trains, teachers, internment camps, outfitters, farmers, war heroes and more await your visit. The Annex outbuilding displays a magnificent collection of chainsaws and farming implements.
