We visit specially selected local, family-run businesses - everything from interesting agriculture facilities to wine and cider producers to delicious eateries. Along the way we share information about Kelowna, the valley, and the sights and entertaining stories that make our city so special. From the heart of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley, welcome to Gray Monk Estate Winery, which was established in 1972 by George and Trudy Heiss. Working with the Heiss family, Gray Monk is now proudly owned and operated by Andrew Peller Limited. The Gray Monk Estate is comprised of 25 acres of lush vineyards overlooking Okanagan Lake, in addition to premium grapes sourced throughout the Okanagan Valley, to produce some of the world's finest wines.

Through the Haida Heritage Centre at Kay Llnagaay we celebrate the living culture of the Haida. The Haida Gwaii Museum opened in 1976 and continues to build an international reputation for showcasing Haida historical and contemporary art, All-Island artists and an outstanding collection of objects, artifacts and scientific material culture.
