BIG Little Science Centre is a fun Hands-On venue for Families. During drop-in times our hands-on rooms are open for visitors to tour at their leisure. The site has approximately 140 stations of hands-on activities to try.

Our drop-in tour hours are from 1-4 PM Monday-Friday. Trethewey House Heritage Site is operated by Heritage Abbotsford Society, a registered non-profit. Our mission is to collect, record, preserve and share the stories of Abbotsford. We offer a range of programs and experiences including site tours, exhibits, historical Abbotsford walking tours, and more - all by donation. The Heritage Site consists of Trethewey House, Joey's Playhouse, the Upper Sumas Train Station, a Heritage Gallery, and the Sylvia Pincott Heritage Habitat Garden. Trethewey House was built in 1919-1920 by Joseph Ogle "J.O." Trethewey. As President of the Abbotsford Lumber Company, J.O. was responsible for leadership of the company during the company's boom years in the 1920s. The House is built in the local Craftsman style and was constructed using primarily local materials, making it distinct from other buildings of similar age within the City of Abbotsford.

The former Coroner's Court, City Morgue, and Forensic Analyst Lab c. 1932 and city heritage building. The Vancouver Police Museum & Archives is an independent non-profit organization exploring the gritter history of Vancouver and specializing in the history of forensic sciences and policing. Explore Vancouver from the water in Olympic Village. Creekside Kayaks offers rentals and kayaking courses from March 1-September 30, and year-round passes. A picturesque site telling the story of a Surrey family circa 1900. The farmhouse is open for free drop-in visits Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 4:30pm. The historic grounds are yours to explore during park hours.

Larch Hills Nordic Society is located half way between Enderby and Salmon Arm in beautiful British Columbia. Daily trail fees are affordable or purchase a membership for an economical option. We offer 57 km of skate/classic trackset trails; 114 km of ungroomed ski trails and 17 km of snowshoe trails. Our groomed trails are maintained by a PB Edge tracksetter and a side by side pulling the Ginzu groomer. There is a beautiful heated chalet with kitchen facilities and indoor washrooms. Our volunteers are active and provide daily grooming, a Safety Host program and ski programs and lessons for all ages.
