Join a local guide for a uniquely Canadian experience on one of the mountain lakes surrounding Sun Peaks. Try your hand at catching a few of the hard-fighting wild Rainbow Trout through the ice. The Grizz Hotel opened in September 2019, in that time it has undergone renovations both inside and out. All the rooms were renovated at the start of 2020 including new bathrooms. We now also serve the Wing n' it franchise in both our onsite pub (the Last Drop pub) as well as our restaurant, where hotel guests can enjoy a 15% discount on food. Rooms come with a fridge, cable TV, air conditioning and WiFi access. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available anytime in the lobby. The West Coast Railway Association presents the story of how the railways were a catalyst in the creation of Western Canadian communities and their economies.
