Mabel Lake Resort & Marina, located on the north shores of beautiful Mabel Lake, is one of BCs premiere family vacation centers, offering a full selection of activities and accommodations. Mabel Lake is 26 miles long and 2 miles wide, with crystal clear water and a newly constructed marina, offering great fishing, boating, water sports and swimming. Make yourself at home with a wide variety of accommodations, from rustic cabins to RV camping sites, luxury condos, and fully equipped vacation homes. Or join many of our friends who have come for a visit, but then bought a property to become full time seasonal residents. A variety of undeveloped RV and building lots are available, including Airpark lots, where you can land your plane on Mabel Lake Airstrip and taxi right to your back door!

Our goal is to provide our guests with the finest personal service and a good night's sleep. Awake every morning to our famous free full menu breakfast. Located in the beautiful mountain town of Smithers, BC we are within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and nightly entertainment. Our staff can provide information on hiking, paddling, fishing and skiing. All rooms are non-smoking,clean and quiet. The beds are comfy with warm duvets, each room has a large flat screen HDTV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and phone. We hope the Stork Nest Inn will be your base camp to adventure in Northern BC.

Traditional salmon fishing for Chinook and Coho salmon are available from July through September in calm, secluded waters throughout Rivers Inlet. Halibut, Yellow Eye and Lingcod are also plentiful in these waters all summer. Heli-fishing for huge northern Coho salmon (20 lbs. plus) within the pristine rivers of the BC coastline is available during September and October, and wild Steelhead fishing from helicopters are available during April and May.Legacy Lodge offers exceptional fly fishing for Pacific salmon on the calm, protected waters of Rivers Inlet. The dense populations of Coho and Chinook in the waters surrounding Legacy Lodge are aggressive, and will take your fly..... and 200 feet of backing off your reel in seconds! Known around the globe for its magnificent scenery and unparalled salmon fishing, the waters of Rivers Inlet teem with some of the largest Coho and Chinook Salmon in the world. In fact, more 50 to 60 pound Chinook salmon are caught in this fjord-like inlet each year than in any other area in British Columbia. Full of energy and fight, these salmon can battle for hours, over incredible distances.Rivers Inlet lies within the Great Bear Rainforest, the planets last large expanses of coastal temperate rainforest. At 8+ million acres, it is 5 times the size of Banff National Park and represents one of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet. With an unmatched biological output of 500 tons per acre, it's 40 percent greater than tropical rain forests.

Woodland Cabins is a premium micro-resort nestled in the trees on a beautiful park-like acreage. Guests love the combination of a luxury hotel experience within the serenity of nature. Located just 900 feet from White Lake in the heart of the Shuswap Lake Region, this location offers an abundance of fun recreation & calming relaxation throughout every season. The Grand Fir Upper Lodge (sleeps 10) features vaulted ceilings, massive view windows, air conditioning, a large fully equipped kitchen, 3 queen bedrooms, 2 sleeping lofts, 7 beds, 2 full bathrooms, a large deck, outdoor dining + bbq, firepit, hot tub access, yard activities, & more. The Thimbleberry and Aspenwood Micro-cabins perfectly combine the uniqueness of glamping with the comfort and quality of a top hotel. Accommodating 2 guests each, they include a queen bed, mini-fridge, microwave, a/c, free wifi, coffee/tea, large deck, and hot tub access. The Raging Elk adventure lodge is situated in the heart of Fernie, a 10 minute drive to Fernie Alpine Resort. We have 2 large patios with epic mountain views, a theatre style TV room, comfy lounge areas with pool table, fuse ball & piano. Fully loaded kitchen, spacious dinning areas, sauna, ski tunning room and secure ski and bike storage. Enjoy our outdoor fire pit in summer. Bright and airy self contained 1000 ft2 suites , and a 2000 ft2 house overlooking Orofino Vineyard and Mountain and the spectacular Similkameen Valley are the perfect home base for a dreamy wine or outdoor themed vacation in this beautiful part of the world. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards, mountains and a short distance to the picturesque Similkameen River, the suites and guest house offer all amenities needed for a relaxing get away. We have a 1 Bedroom suite, a 2 Bedroom suite, both complete with large vaulted ceiling kitchens opening onto a private deck with barbecue and seating overlooking our vineyard. The 3 Bedroom guest house has an open spacious floorplan, and multiple outdoor sitting and dining areas. Bicycles are available for borrowing to explore our wonderful valley and Orofino Winery is conveniently located next to the suites.Laundry facilities are available upon request.
